Background

Carlyn has been an occupational therapist since 2003, focused working with adults in the community.  She is passionate about helping clients resume meaningful activity, knowing that getting back to doing what is important is central to well being.

When she's not working, Carlyn is most likely to be found on a pottery wheel, outdoors, or on an airplane with her husband and school aged children, heading off on another adventure.

Guiding Values

In order to make lasting, meaningful change during a difficult time, a strong therapeutic relationship must be built. This allows individuals to be brave and vulnerable so they share what really matters and what's getting in the way of engaging fully in living those values. From that foundation the therapist and client can work together to build an action plan full of small towards-moves that will move closer to living a full and meaningful life.
